IMO AGM to be held at Aviva next month

The IMO AGM is scheduled to take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 28 May. Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly is due to address the meeting.

The day will begin with national meetings for GPs, NCHDs, consultants, and public health and community health doctors.

Later in the morning, current President Dr Ina Kelly will officially present the presidential chain of office to incoming President Dr Clive Kilgallen.

Topics that will be covered during the conference include the medical response to armed conflict and displaced persons; key issues for the health service beyond the pandemic; and gender equality in medicine.

It will be the first IMO AGM with in-person attendees since 2019.
